At Calvary Chapel Academy we offer grades K-8. We use a challenging Christ-centered curriculum, primarily from Bob Jones University Press. We seek the Lord for our strength and wisdom in teaching Bible, English Language Arts, Math, Science and History. Our reading programs are phonics-based. Our small class sizes make it possible for our teachers to create a family-like environment for our students. We also offer special classes such as Art, Physical Education, Library and Choir.  Our affordable tuition and opportunity for financial aid makes Christian education available to anyone. District busing is also available.

In Junior High students take French as a foreign language taught by a Paris-born native. Also available is an Intro to Audio Production class, which focuses on creative writing and actual experience at the studio of WZXV 99.7 FM.  There are ministry opportunities through our Choir, with visits to senior living centers, and our annual food drive. Extra-curricular activities include Intramurals, Drama Club and Yearbook Club. In Drama Club the students will gain confidence in public speaking. Yearbook Club helps our students learn the art of photography and graphic arts. Our yearbook, Journey, is created and promoted by the students from start to finish.

While our academic programs are very important, our students’ spiritual growth is even more important. Through our daily Bible lessons, weekly Chapels and special apologetic classes, we focus on raising the next generation for Jesus, and nurturing a lifelong commitment to Him.
