HISTORY
Calvary Chapel Christian School (CCCS) was founded in September of 1987, originally under the name of Maranatha Fellowship Christian School. It was an education ministry to serve the members of Maranatha Fellowship, later renamed Calvary Chapel of the Finger Lakes (CCFL) in 1989.
It began with grades K through 3. Through the years CCCS progressively added classes to realize high school graduations from 2001 to 2009. Under the redirection of our Lord, however, in 2009 it was determined that we should again focus on the youngest of hearts. With this new vision, CCCS concentrated on Pre-K through 5. In the fall of 2013, it then expanded by adding grades 6, 7 and 8, establishing CCCS as a K-8 school. In June of 2015 CCCS was officially renamed Calvary Chapel Academy (CCA).
